Understanding Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria: How This App Can Help
For many with ADHD, a simple "no" can feel like a world-ending nightmare. This is Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), and it makes navigating daily life painfully hard.
Developed by clinical psychologists, Inflow helps you understand and navigate RSD triggers using science-backed strategies.
In just 5 minutes a day, you can learn to prevent unhelpful thoughts and build deep emotional resilience. Stop spiraling and start reframing your thinking with a custom learning plan designed for your brain.
We’ve all heard the same lines for years.
“AI will change everything.”
“The future is now.”
“Embrace automation.”
“Get ready for robots.”
But here’s the part nobody explains properly:
Future tech isn’t waiting for us to catch up.
It’s arriving so quickly that many of us feel excited one moment and quietly anxious the next, wondering if we’ll still have meaningful work, real connections, or even a clear sense of what makes us human.
Why The Rapid Pace Feels So Heavy
You read about AI writing reports in seconds or virtual meetings that feel more real than real life.
You feel a mix of wonder and pressure:
“Should I learn this now? Will my job still exist in five years?”
You try new tools, watch tutorials, and still feel behind.
The excitement turns into quiet worry.
You start questioning simple things like whether spending time with family or creating something with your own hands will matter in this new world.
The Scale Nobody Wants to Say Out Loud
AI and automation are advancing faster than any previous technology in history.
Entire industries are shifting in months instead of decades.
Yet surveys show millions of people worldwide feel unprepared and anxious about how quickly their daily routines, jobs, and relationships could change.
Blind Excitement vs Thoughtful Readiness
Blind excitement says:
“Adopt every new tool immediately, or you’ll be left behind.”
Thoughtful readiness says:
“Stay curious, but protect what makes life meaningful.
Choose tech that serves you instead of letting it run your life.”
This shift changed everything for me.
What I Actually Do Now
I’m not a tech expert or futurist (far from it).
But here’s what thoughtful engagement with future tech looks like in my daily life:
I try one new AI tool each month, but only keep it if it genuinely saves time without adding stress.
I set clear boundaries: no screens during meals or family time, even if the tech is “smart.”
I ask myself before adopting anything new: “Does this help me live better or just make me busier?”
I regularly talk with friends and family about how tech is changing us so we don’t feel alone.
I still do things the old way sometimes, like handwriting notes and reading physical books, because they feel grounding.
The biggest change?
I stopped rushing to keep up with everything and started choosing what actually adds value to my life.
Let’s Be Real
Future tech is exciting and powerful, but it won’t replace the things that make us human real conversations, creativity, kindness, and simple presence.
You don’t have to embrace every new thing to stay relevant.
You can be curious about tomorrow and still protect what matters today.
What To Do Instead
Stay informed, but don’t feel pressured to learn everything at once.
Test new tools slowly, and adopt only what truly helps.
Protect screen-free moments with family and friends.
Ask yourself regularly: “Is this tech making my life better or just busier?”
Keep doing some things the old-fashioned way on purpose.
Talk openly with others about how the changes feel ,you’re not alone in the uncertainty.
The future isn’t something that happens to us.
It’s something we help shape by choosing thoughtfully today
